About the Journal
The Journal of Applied Management and Multisectoral Research (JAMMR) is a peer-reviewed platform dedicated to advancing knowledge in management and interdisciplinary fields. The journal provides scholars, researchers, and practitioners with a platform to publish high-quality empirical studies, case reports, conceptual analyses, and applied research that contribute to theory, practice, and policy-making. JAMMR focuses on research addressing contemporary challenges in management, business administration, public policy, and multisectoral domains. The journal aims to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application, fostering collaboration across disciplines and promoting innovative approaches to management problems.
Aims and Scope
JAMMR publishes research that is original, methodologically rigorous, and of practical relevance. The journal encourages submissions exploring organizational behavior, strategic management, operational efficiency, human resource management, governance, public administration, and technological innovations such as artificial intelligence in management practices. Interdisciplinary research that combines insights from economics, social sciences, environmental studies, and technology applications is particularly welcome. Manuscripts should address significant questions, provide evidence-based findings, and contribute to both theoretical development and practical implementation.
Focus Areas and Disciplines
The journal covers a broad range of topics including management theory, applied business strategies, leadership, organizational development, corporate governance, policy analysis, technology management, digital transformation, and sustainability in business practices. Research integrating emerging areas such as AI applications, data analytics, and automation in management processes is encouraged, provided ethical considerations are explicitly addressed. JAMMR values research offering actionable insights for organizations, policy-makers, and academic communities, thereby promoting informed decision-making across sectors.
Editorial Information
JAMMR is guided by an experienced and diverse editorial board comprising leading scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world. The editorial board ensures that the journal maintains high academic standards, rigorous peer review, and the publication of impactful research. Members actively contribute to shaping the journal’s direction, reviewing submissions, and fostering scholarly excellence. For inquiries or correspondence, the Editorial Office can be reached via email at editors.jammr@gmail.com, where staff provide guidance on manuscript submission, ethical compliance, and publication procedures.
Publication Frequency and Charges
The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. JAMMR does not charge an Article Processing Fee (APC); however, a nominal maintenance fee is applied: ₹1,000 for domestic authors and $20 for international authors. The journal is committed to open access publication, allowing all articles to be freely accessible online under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This ensures wide dissemination while maintaining proper attribution to authors.
Submission Guidelines
JAMMR welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts within its scope. Submissions must:
- Be the author’s original work
- Not be under consideration elsewhere
- Include necessary permissions for any previously published material, including figures, tables, or lengthy quotations
Regular research articles should not exceed 8,000–9,000 words and must include an unstructured abstract of 150–200 words along with 4–6 keywords. Abstracts should summarize the research objectives, methodology, major findings, and conclusions. Keywords should accurately represent the study topic to ensure discoverability.
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format and include clearly defined sections such as Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively, include descriptive captions, and be submitted at 300 dpi resolution.
Title Page and Anonymization
To facilitate double-blind peer review, the main manuscript must be fully anonymized, with identifying information placed only on the title page. The title page should include:
- Article title
- Full names and affiliations of all authors
- Corresponding author contact information
- Acknowledgements
- Funding statements
- Ethical approval and informed consent statements
- Declaration of conflicts of interest
- Data availability information
All authors must meet authorship criteria and provide consent for submission. ORCID IDs are strongly encouraged for all authors and should be linked to their submission accounts.
Ethical Guidelines
JAMMR strictly adheres to international publication ethics. Research involving human participants, human data, or human tissue must include ethical approval statements from the relevant Ethics Committee or Institutional Review Board, including approval numbers. Consent to participate must be obtained, either written or verbal, or explicitly waived if appropriate. Studies containing identifiable data or media must include consent for publication from participants or legally authorized representatives. Ethical statements must also cover research involving animals, sensitive data, or proprietary information.
AI Ethics in Research
Research using artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automated systems must follow strict ethical standards. Authors must:
- Avoid biased datasets or discriminatory algorithms
- Ensure transparency by clearly describing AI models, methods, and decision processes
- Comply with privacy and data protection regulations
- Take responsibility for AI-driven outcomes
- Consider risks, limitations, and unintended consequences
AI tools may assist with research and writing, but AI chatbots such as ChatGPT cannot be listed as authors. Any AI usage must be appropriately acknowledged and demonstrate originality and critical analysis.
Peer Review Process
JAMMR follows a double-blind peer review system. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts who assess originality, research quality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and ethical compliance. The editorial board makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors are encouraged to provide all supplementary materials, including datasets, appendices, or multimedia, to support transparency and reproducibility.
Citation and References
The journal follows APA 7th edition style for all citations and references. Every in-text citation must correspond to a reference in the reference list. Authors should avoid citing preprints unless no peer-reviewed version exists. References should be consistently formatted and include journal articles, books, book chapters, reports, and online sources. Accurate citation practices ensure academic integrity and traceability.
Data Availability
Authors are encouraged to share research data in publicly accessible repositories. A data availability statement should indicate where the data can be accessed or explain why sharing is not possible. Proper citation of shared datasets is required to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and credit to original contributors.
Funding and Conflicts of Interest
All submissions must include a funding statement specifying sources, grant numbers, or “no funding” if applicable. Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest to ensure transparency and maintain trust in published research.
Open Access and Copyright
Articles published in JAMMR are open access under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal license to publish. Readers may freely access, download, and share content with proper attribution, promoting broad dissemination of research findings.
Additional Notes
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided during submission, including author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, and funding details. Manuscripts must be submitted only with the consent of all contributors. JAMMR does not accept submissions that have been previously posted on preprint servers, and all materials must comply with ethical, legal, and scholarly standards.
